Kadi Creel finished the game with a season high 14 points, including a 16-foot jump shot that tied the game at 43 with 12:30 left in the game. But following this effort by Creel, Dartmouth went on an 8-3 run to extend their lead. Dartmouth continued to pull away every time Houston narrowed the gap, and ran away with the lead.

Houston played the game without two of its regular starters. Junior Emily Fryters and freshman Jasmin Moore sat out because of injuries.

Tye Jackson recorded a double double for the Big Green with 20 points and 11 rebounds. It was a career night for Jackson, as she also recorded a career-high seven steals.
