Three major events will take place at the Moores Opera House in the next week. All three concerts will include both students and faculty performing music ranging from the Baroque period to contemporary music.

The first recital will feature faculty trombonist Brian Kauk at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Kauk will be assisted by Jim Vassallo on trumpet and guest artists Rae Shannon (piano) and Rick Reeves (bass trombone).

The program will include Ferdinand David's Concertino, Op. 4 and Boris Blacher's Divertimento for Trumpet, Trombone and Piano. Kauk will also perform works by Johann Ernst Galliard and J. Edouard Barat.
