Music for God: The Fellowship of Christian Musicians will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in the second-floor chamber music room of the Moores School of Music, for a Bible study written specifically for musicians.
Stay safe: The Wellness Center presents "Safer Sex or No Sex" week. Stop by the center in the UC from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for free condoms or information on abstinence.
MVP: The Metropolitan Volunteer Program will hold a food and clothing drive from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. today and Friday around campus as part of Homelessness Awareness week.
Mass: The Catholic Newman Student Association will celebrate Mass at noon in the A.D. Bruce Religion Center second-floor chapel. All UH students and faculty are welcome to attend.
Prayer: The Muslim Students' Association will hold a Dhuhr prayer at 1:05 p.m., Asr prayer at 3:45 p.m. and Maghrib prayer at sunset.
Seminar: The Department of Chemical Engineering presents "Enabling Technologies for Intelligent Vehicles," a mechanical engineering graduate seminar, at 2:30 p.m. in Room W122, D3.
AIDS day: The World AIDS Day Committee at UH will meet at 2:30 p.m. in the UC San Jacinto Room. Anyone interested in helping with AIDS Day activities Dec. 1 is invited to attend.
Marketing: The American Marketing Association will meet at 4 p.m. in Room 321, Melcher Hall. The guest speaker will be from Stan and Louis Advertising.
Rugby: The rugby team will practice from 4 to 6 p.m. behind the Athletic/Alumni Center. All are welcome, and no experience is necessary.
Recitation: The Muslim Students' Association will hold Quranic recitation classes from 4 to 6 p.m. in the A.D. Bruce Religion Center. Classes are for beginning, intermediate and advanced learners.
Speech, speech: Toastmasters International, a club devoted to the improvement of public speaking, will meet at 6 p.m. in either the Atlantic or Pacific Room, UC Underground.
NOW: The National Organization for Women will meet at 7 p.m. in the Women's Resource Center, second-floor of the A.D. Bruce Religion Center.
Rosary: A rosary prayer will be said at 7 p.m. in the Catholic Center's Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
Deustch: The German Stammtisch (Table) will meet at 8 p.m. at Brasil, the café on the corner of Dunlavy and Westheimer, for conversation on all levels of German.
Free flicks: The Catholic Newman Student Association will host "First Friday Flicks" movie night at 7:30 p.m. in the Catholic Center across from Entrance 1.
