Stay safe: The Wellness Center presents "Safer Sex or No Sex" week. Stop by the UC from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for free condoms or information on abstinence.

Free seminar:The Department of Chemical Engineering will hold a seminar, "A Discrete-Time Model of Mixing in Laminar Stirred-Tank Reactors," at 10:30 a.m. in Room W122-D3, Cullen College of Engineering.

Jum'aa prayer:The Muslim Students Association will hold a congregational prayer at 1:30 p.m. in Rooms 201 and 204, A.D. Bruce Religion Center.

Anime No Kai: Anime No Kai, a Japanese animation club, will show a variety of Japanese animation titles from 2 to 5 p.m. at the UC Satellite.

Study circle: The Muslim Students Association will hold an Islamic study circle at 6:30 p.m. in the UC Underground.

Homecoming fiesta: The Baptist Student Ministry will hold a Homecoming dinner at 7 p.m. in the Baptist Student Center. The dinner will cost $5 for UH students, $10 for alumni and $15 for alumni couples. 

Become a real athlete: The UH Badminton Club will hold a meeting from 7 to 8:45 p.m. at the Melcher Gym.


Space:The Baptist Student Ministry will take 35 people to the Space Center Houston Saturday. Interested students need to pre-register by calling BSM at (713) 741-0967. 

Experience a little culture: The Indonesian Consulate General will hold the Indonesian Festival & Bazaar Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 10900 Richmond Ave.

Staff Day: The UH Staff Council will hold Staff Day Saturday at noon on the west side of Robertson Stadium.

Cougar Rock, "the official UH Alumni Garage Band for the Third Millennium," will play from noon to 2:15 p.m. Saturday on the east side of Robertson Stadium. 

Mass: The Catholic Student Association will hold mass at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the A.D. Bruce Religion Center and 6 p.m. Sunday at the Catholic Center. 

What is art?: Artists of all kind are invited to develop projects at Temp10, Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at 5217 Feagan. For more information, call (713) 802-1828.

Open house: The Latter Day Saint Student Association invites students to an open house at 7:07 p.m. Sunday at the LDS Institute, 5008 Calhoun Road.
