Campus Spotlight

Music: The Fellowship of Christian Musicians will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in the second floor chamber music practice room, Moores School of Music. Stop by for fellowship, music and fun.

Religion: The Muslim Ahmadiyaa Students Association will maintain an information stall from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University Center.

Daily prayer: The Muslim Students Association will meet at 1:15 p.m. for Dhuhr prayer, 4:15 p.m. for Asr prayer and sunset for Maghrib at the A.D. Bruce Religion Center.

AIDS: The UH African- American Studies Program presents "AIDS and Minorities" from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room 315C, Agnes Arnold Hall.

Free seminar: The Department of Mechanical Engineering presents "Development of the Lightweight Mission Specialist Seats for the Space Shuttle Orbiter" at 2:30 p.m. in Room W122, Cullen College of Engineering.

GOAL!: The Men's and Women's Soccer Club will meet from 3 to 6 p.m. on the soccer field behind Melcher Gym. Liability waiver and club fee are required to join club and practices.

Seerah: The Muslim Students Association will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. for Seerah classes in Room 202, A.D. Bruce Religion Center.

Freshmen council: The Baptist Student Ministry will meet at 4 p.m. at the Baptist Student Center. All freshmen in search of a relaxing time are welcome to attend.

Work out your stress: The Shotokan Karate Club will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Cougar Den, UC.

Speak German?: The German Stammtisch will meet at 8 p.m. at Brasil at the corner of Dunlavy and Westheimer.

Bible study: Alpha Omega will meet at 8 p.m. in the Atlantic Room, UC Underground.


Homecoming chair: The Student Program Board is accepting applications for the 1999 Homecoming Chair. Applicants must enroll in the Fall 1999 and Spring 2000 semesters. Interested students should stop by the SPB office in Room 59, UC Underground. The applications are due no later than 5 p.m. Feb. 26.
