In News Today . . .

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has once again ruled in favor of two female UH employees who allege General Counsel Dennis Duffy subjected them to a hostile work environment and repeatedly discriminated against them based on age, race and gender.

In Opinion Today . . .

The Republican and Democratic primaries are upon us. By and large, Americans have two Democrats and two Republicans to choose from. On the Democratic side, there is the born-again New Dealer Bill Bradley versus Clinton surrogate Al Gore. On the Republican side, there is media darling John McCain versus former media darling George W. Bush.

In Entertainment Today . . .

I have never seen Rudyard's as packed as it was Thursday night when 20 Miles, featuring Judah Bauer from The John Spencer Blues, played with Bob Log III (formerly Doo Rag) and Jug O' Lightnin'. Bob Log III stole the show with an amazing one-man performance.

In Sports Today . . .

There is something special about this year's Cougar baseball squad. They have a sort of quiet confidence about them, which they have translated into a solid 7-3 record.
