Coogs defeat Rice, retain Bayou Bucket
In News Today . . .
The Rice Owls came soaring into Robertson Stadium on Saturday expecting
a football game. What they got was Apocalypse Now.
I refuse to care about politics when America's politicians don't care
about me. I refuse to make too much sense out of anything, out of fear
that if I understand something, it will only make me madder.
"The British are coming! The British are coming!"
Not even a power outage was going to spoil the Cougars' party Saturday night. It was actually the defense that played lights out in UH's 28-3 season opening route of Rice at the newly renovated John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium.
