Free seminar: The Department of Chemical Engineering at UH presents Professor Michael W. Deem of the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of California in a free seminar titled "Statistical Mechanics in Biomedical Engineering & Biotechnology." More scholarships: The Women's Studies Program is now accepting applications for the Blanche Espy Chenoweth Graduate Fellowship ($2500), the Maud Smith Paddock Undergraduate Scholarship ($2500) and the Elizabeth Smith Chenoweth Undergraduate Scholarship ($2500).
