In News Today . . .

Although advocates of free speech on college campuses deemed last week's U.S. Supreme Court decision upholding the use of mandatory student fees to fund campus organizations a victory, some remain concerned about the decision's vagueness.
 

In Opinion Today . . .

Earlier this month, I wrote a column about the school shooting in Michigan in which I wondered aloud whether the death penalty should apply to a 6-year-old child. Two letters I received seriously raked me over the coals for such a "horrifying" position. One even stated that it is "obvious" I am a Republican. I dare you to start polling Republicans and see if any would agree that executing kids is a good idea, because I would be amazed if you could find even one.
 

In Entertainment Today . . .

With Asian culture on the rise in America, it is no surprise that there is a newly built shopping center in Houston specifically focusing on the culture.
 

In Sports Today . . .

This weekend, UH will dedicate its new track and field complex honoring two lions in Cougar track and field history.
