About the Cougar

Rock 'n' roll, man ... rock 'n' roll

In Opinion Today . . .

Earlier this month, I wrote a column about the school shooting in Michigan in which I wondered aloud whether the death penalty should apply to a 6-year-old child. Two letters I received seriously raked me over the coals for such a "horrifying" position. One even stated that it is "obvious" I am a Republican. I dare you to start polling Republicans and see if any would agree that executing kids is a good idea, because I would be amazed if you could find even one.

In Entertainment Today . . .

In Sports Today . . .

This weekend, UH will dedicate its new track and field complex honoring two lions in Cougar track and field history.
