Pathway to Success: A workshop will be held to focus on registration with the internship program, types of internships, sources of internship opportunities and getting the most from an internship experience. ESPD: The Environmental and Physical Safety Department offers free training on safety related topics, including CPR, First-Aid, Defensive Driving (not for ticket dismissal), as well as many other safety-related topics. Restore Women's Rights in Afghanistan!: Help bring an end to gender apartheid. All you have to do is sign petitions posted in the first floor bulletins of Agnes Arnold, Heyne, PGH, AH Auditorium, Science and Research and Melcher buildings.
Study abroad: The UH Department of Modern and Classical Languages is now accepting applications for its seven-week Bourges Study Abroad Program, which will be from May 19 through July 7. Deadline to apply is May 1. For more information, call (713) 743-3033.
Scholarships: The Women's Studies Program is now accepting applications for the Blanche Espy Chenoweth Graduate Fellowship ($2500), the Maud Smith Paddock Undergraduate Scholarship ($2500) and the Elizabeth Smith Chenoweth Undergraduate Scholarship ($2500).
