Provost Edward P. Sheridan is expected to announce a proposal to merge
the College of Humanities, Fine Arts and Communication and the College
of Social Sciences at today's Faculty Senate meeting.

On Thursday evening April 13th, the Houston Museum of Natural Science
opened Kremlin Gold: 1000 Years of Russian Gems and Jewels. This
is an exclusive exhibition from the collection of the Moscow State Historical
-Cultural Museum Preserve. This spectacular exhibit displays 140 masterpieces,
including rare treasures and sacred jewelry dating back to early Russian
