Edward Spinks teaches a water aerobics class in Garrison Gym Tuesday afternoon. The class meets from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of Summer Session I.

Vice President Al Gore will win the upcoming presidential election, grabbing 56.1 percent of the vote -- that is, if Christopher Wlezien's recently published formula for election forecasting is as accurate as it was in 1996, when it statistically predicted President Bill Clinton's victory within one-tenth of one percent.

I guess I am supposed to feel sorry for Gary Graham for receiving something of a bum deal by being represented by a pretty worthless lawyer. If I believe Amnesty International, I am supposed to feel outraged that he was put to death.
