Correction

An Aug. 2 front-page story on the Republican National Convention incorrectly reported that Republican presidential candidate George W. Bush said he would lift a self-imposed ban on comments about President Clinton's character if Clinton continued making personal attacks against him. In fact, that statement was made by former President George Bush on behalf of his son. The Daily Cougar regrets the error.
