UH President Arthur K. Smith announced last week the formation of the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women, which will embark on an extensive two-year review of issues concerning women at the University.

In Opinion Today . . .

I don't remember much about the first time I went to a nightclub. I remember being nervous at the sight of this huge guy with a tight, black shirt and tight, black pants. He would scare almost anyone. 

In Entertainment Today . . .

It was fairly obvious what to expect Friday night at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion as Paul Simon and Bob Dylan took the stage on the second-to-last show of their summer tour.

The Ragin' Cajuns were such gentlemen. Polite and courteous, giving no offense to their hosts.
