Commission to report of UH women's issues
'Think of something peaceful'

UH President Arthur K. Smith announced last week the formation of the
Presidential Commission on the Status of Women, which will embark on an
extensive two-year review of issues concerning women at the University.
I don't remember much about the first time I went to a nightclub. I
remember being nervous at the sight of this huge guy with a tight, black
shirt and tight, black pants. He would scare almost anyone.
It was fairly obvious what to expect Friday night at Cynthia Woods Mitchell
Pavilion as Paul Simon and Bob Dylan took the stage on the second-to-last
show of their summer tour.
The Ragin' Cajuns were such gentlemen. Polite and courteous, giving no offense to their hosts.
These delightful guests enabled the Cougar defense to present head coach Kim Helton with the first shutout of his coaching career at UH.
The Cougars held the Ragin' Cajuns scoreless in a 45-0 blowout at O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium on Saturday.
