Sale to aid earthquake victims

The Student Association of the Republic of China will hold a fund-raiser today, Thursday, and Friday to benefit earthquake victims in the Republic of Taiwan.

SAROC will be selling t-shirts and taking donations from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the PGH Breezeway. Thursday, the fund-raiser will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Center.

The effort will conclude on Friday and will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at PGH.

The 7.8-magnitude earthquake, which struck Taiwan in the early morning hours of Sept. 21, left more than 2,000 people dead and some 8,600 injured.
