A costumed entertainer helps studnets enjoy the festivities at Air Raid, an annual UC Underground celebreation welcoming students back to campus. Members of the Students' Association spoke against campus bookstores
at Wednesday's SA meeting, saying textbook shortages prompted them to order
books from the Internet.
Well, we've almost made it through the first week of school. You've
found where the buildings are, you've waited in lines, you've navigated
parking lot and construction hell, and you've figured out where the working
vending machines are.
For those die-hard fans of teen flicks that star Noxzema-faced actors
and actresses, Teaching Mrs. Tingle will be an immediate hit. But
for those looking for a decent and worthy piece of film to entertain them,
this one will only satisfy halfway.
The UH soccer team didn't exactly storm out of the gate last year. It was really more of a stumble.
