Noble signs three jucos, five Texans and three Canadians for baseball

UH head baseball coach Rayner Noble announced the signing of three junior college transfers, five Texas high school players and three players from Canada on Thursday.

Two of the junior college players, outfielder Josh Snook and first baseman/third baseman Chris Klosterman, come to Houston from Cypress Community College in California. The other junior college player is outfielder Craig Bowser of Greyson Community College.

Three of the high school players from Texas are from the Houston area: second baseman Gabe Lucas of Mayde Creek High School, right-handed pitcher Brad Knox of Cy-Falls High School and outfielder Sam Mitchell of Pearland High School.

The other two players from Texas are right-handed pitcher/infielder Gene Flores of Moody High School in Corpus Christi and right-handed pitcher/infielder Brad Sullivan of Nederland High School in Nederland.

The remaining three players from Canada are right-handed pitchers (and twin brothers) Michael and Steven Reiss of Vaughn Secondary School near Toronto, Ontario. The other player is shortstop Hyung Cho of Birchmont Park High School in Scarborough, Ontario.
