The UH men's basketball team rolled over the Skovbakken-Bakken Bears 91-52 in the Cougars' final exhibition game of the season Monday.

"These games are tough to play," UH head basketball coach Clyde Drexler said. "I've never liked them because I don't think they do anything to improve your game."

UH's Chad Hendrick (32) scored 16 points on 7-of7 shooting in the Cougars' 91-52 exhibition win over the Skovbakken-Bakken Bears on Monday.

Houston was led by the fierce play of junior Chad Hendrick, who shot 7-for-7 from the field for 16 points. The Cougar forward also grabbed five rebounds and recorded one steal.

Seniors Kenny Younger and Gee Gervin each scored 15 points. Freshman George Williams scored 12 points and grabbed eight boards.

The Bears were led by Soren Ege, who scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Skovbakken-Bakken. The Danish native also shot 7-for-7 from the floor.

"The first exhibition was a good test for us," Drexler said, "but this game is the kind of game I have problems with as a coach. I like to see every game be competitive, but this game was scheduled and we had to play it."

Drexler and the men's basketball team will begin the regular season on the road at the Top of the World Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska, on Nov. 18.
