Nothing ever happens on Mars: Rice University, the National Space Society and the Mars Society will sponsor a celebration of the landing of the Mars Polar Lander from 2 to 6 p.m. in Room 301, Sewall Hall on the Rice campus. The event will feature speakers, images from the lander and food.
