President Arthur K. Smith has created the UH National Advisory Council,
designed to provide support for the advancement of the University through
fund raising, marketing and community relations.
I appreciate all of my readers who have made time to write me and tell
me if I'm doing a good job or not. The following are excerpts from a sample
of the responses I have received this semester.
The holiday season can be a joyous time as the cold weather blows in,
the malls become packed with people and the sounds of Christmas carols
