By Reiko Gillum
Daily Cougar Staff

Project Row Houses, a public art project that gets artists involved in the revitalization and preservation of Houston's Third Ward, will begin jazzing up the neighborhood this evening.

PRH will kick off a Jazz Listening Room starting at 7 p.m. Houston DJ Tierney Malone will provide music from 7 p.m. to midnight, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The row houses, a group of 22 renovated homes that serve as a center of art, recreation and African-American culture for the Third Ward, are located at 2500 Holman, just west of campus.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Jazz Listening Room. For information, call Rick Lowe or Andrew Malveaux at (713) 526-7662.
