Friday

Movies
Someone Like You -- Ashley Judd stars as Jane Goodale, a young woman who is determined to succeed both professionally (as a talent booker for a popular radio show) and romantically.

Greg Kinnear (Ray Brown) enters as her new boss and love interest.
Searching for answers after their sudden breakup, Judd looks in the best way she can -- scientifically.

Stars Ashley Judd and Greg Kinnear enjoy an idyllic moment in the midst of their sizzling romance in the romantic comedy, Someone Like You.

Someone Like You also stars Hugh Jackman (X-Men and Marisa Tomei (What Women Want). Rated PG-13.

Tomcats -- Meet the Tomcats - Jerry OiConnell, Jake Busey, Horatio Sanz -, a group of freewheeling, sex-fueled, single buddies as they go head-to-head in a betting pool that will leave the "last man standing" unmarried with a sizable jackpot.

OiConnell (Jerry McGuire) stumbles in his conquest when he runs up a sizable bill at a Las Vegas casino and now must marry off Busey (Shasta McNasty) in thirty days -- or else.

Thatis where Buseyis ex, Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie) enters the film and tries to woo Busey to the altar.

Also stars Jamie Pressly Ringmaster. Rated R.

Spy Kids -- This film is strictly for children and Antonio Banderas lovers.
Banderas (Gregorio Cortez) and his wife Carla Gugino (Ingrid Cortez) star as spies who are captured by the enemy and must be saved by their children.
Other films premiering this weekend are Memento and The Tailor of Panama.

Saturday

Miss Saigon -- One of Broadwayis longest productions will make its way for a brief stint in Houston until Sunday.

Miss Saigon tells the story of "Madame Butterfly," a Vietnamese woman that falls in love with an American G.I. and is later scorned by him.

This will be the productionis final tour, as it will shut down the show this year.

Remaining showtimes: 2 and 8 p.m. on Saturday and 2 and 7:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Arena Theatre. Call 713-988-1020 for details.

Getting hitched? Well, make you way down to the "Bridal Symposium" at the Reliant Astrodome.

The Reliant Astrodome will play host to the "Bridal Symposium" this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Everything you need to know about a planning a wedding will be included, from the food to the tablecloth.

The gathering will be from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The Suchu dance troupe will perform "Astoria," a combination of numerous dance elements.

The animated inspired show included dances from a Star Trek sequence to the "WB" symbol, Michigan J. Frog.

Comedy Anarchists? Thatis what the group, Upright Citizens Brigade yearns to be.

Talented, but definitely quirky.
