Smith gives his feedback to student fee committee

UH President Arthur K. Smith submitted his recommendations to the report for the Student Fee Advisory Committee regarding the allocations of student fees for the 2001-02 school year.
 

Fomer TSU police chief files whistleblower suit

A former Texas Southern University police chief is suing the university, alleging that the administration dismissed him in retaliation for reporting a violation by a fellow employee of the school.
 

UH end free dial-up service

AccessUH users will need to find a new Internet service provider starting next month.

The University's Information Technology Department has announced it will begin retiring the free service's modems May 11. The service, which is provided to students and employees, allows dial-up access to Internet resources and e-mail accounts from off-campus locations.

Thursday's article "38th SGA administration officially takes office" reported an SGA senator said work on the Quadrangle will not take place between the spring and summer semesters. In fact, it will, and the expected date of completion is June 1. The Daily Cougar regrets any confusion this may have caused.
