In News Today . . .

It is not very often a UH student is recognized for outstanding assistance in preventing crime, but when Ryan Smith decided Aug. 14 to get involved and help prevent a burglary, he earned that honor.

In Opinion Today . . .

He has a mediocre academic career. Some of the most academic people in our country have no business running it. Harry Truman was not very academic but still surprisingly successful.

In Entertainment Today . . .

I have recently made my third visit to what I now consider one of the most impressive dining experiences in our restaurant-rich city.

In Sports Today . . .

There used to be a few things you could count on in college athletics. Bobby Knight being the head basketball coach at Indiana, Penn State's football team being ranked, and Army running the option.
