Math instructor Rick Smalley sports a pirate costume Tuesday while teaching class. The majority of students steered clear of Halloween costumes -- at least on campus -- but that didn't keep Smalley from displaying his holiday spirit.
Police are investigating tips from Crime Stoppers and examining forensics
evidence from the car involved in last week's sexual assault of a UH student
in hopes of identifying the alleged attacker.
You never really know how important something is until it's gone. Recent
events have really reinforced this sentiment for me.
