Funding could make space corn possible

A research team at the Houston Partnership for Space Exploration at
UH is working on methods to process corn for tortilla chips in space. They
are simultaneously investigating the causes that make food spoil, thus
finding ways to extend shelf life.
Sorry about that break last week, folks. I was busy deep in the bowels
of the county's records warehouse, searching the old public record for
clues and tips - anything that could save us all.
