Organizers of Thursday's forum for Gay Awareness Week pack up equipment in front of the University Center Satellite after the event was canceled because of rain. The forum has not yet been rescheduled.


UH is in the process of installing Microsoft's Windows 2000 operating system in many computers on campus, and Information Technology officials are trying to avoid a clash with existing network software that will not be replaced.
Six days from now, most of us will be sitting around the television -- err, table -- somewhere enjoying (what we hope will be) a scrumptious holiday feast. If you're into tradition, you'll probably be having turkey, dressing, potatoes and pumpkin pie, or lasagna or gumbo or whatever your tradition happens to be.
When making a movie about hell, is there really any other choice than to make a soundtrack packed with metal?

Though the season may be all but over, UH still has something to play for.

Seniors on the Cougar squad will be taking their final snaps during UH's game against the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday.
