RU-486 pill ok'd by FDA, not UH

Less than a few months after its approval by the Food and Drug Administration, universities have been hesitant to stock the RU-486 abortion-inducing pill in on-campus clinics. Some have carried the "morning after" drug, some are debating whether or not to and some, like the UH health center, have even refused to allow its disbursement.
 

Library to start 24-hour pilot program for finals

In an effort to better serve the students at UH, library dean Dana Rooks said the M.D. Anderson Memorial Library will be open 24 hours a day, Monday through Thursday, during final exams.
 

Center provides 'Edu-care' for Uh's youngest children

The first clues that the low-slung gray building is different from most on campus are the 40 cases of diapers sitting in the entrance hall waiting to be put away. The row of car seats is a giveaway, too. Tucked between the police department and Cougar Place, the building is where the especially young at UH start learning.
