The UH Metropolitan Volunteer Program held a reading workshop Thursday at the University Center. Senior accounting major LaTrice Scottalbert and Toyon Sherman read a book together at the event, which was for children in the UH surrounding community area day cares and children of students, faculty and staff.
The Wellness Center at the University of Houston understands that the fall semester is ending, but the fight to find a cure for AIDS remains constant.
I've gone from Thanksgiving to the end of the semester to Christmas -- all within the span of a single column. Awesome.
Not quite sure of what to expect of the coming chaos, the crowd inside the Compaq Center was wound up, to say the least, in anticipation of the DMX/Godsmack/Limp Bizkit show Wednesday night.

The Cougar men's basketball team was supposed to go into Storrs, Conn. Thursday night and get blown out by the No. 12-ranked Connecticut Huskies.
