The Daily Cougar staff members decorate a Christmas tree in the newsroom in the Communication Building. The Daily Cougar completes its Fall semester edition today, but will publish weekly online editions of Breaking News, which begin Dec. 13.
A UH law student traveled to the Netherlands during Thanksgiving week for a United Nations global warming conference, where representatives from around the world met to discuss strategies to relieve international environmental issues.
Well, folks this is it for me. This is my last little political diatribe before traipsing back to the city of my birth for winter break and hopefully eighteen hours of uninterrupted sleep. 
Boy bands and teen pop princesses continued to dominate the charts while lesser-known, but more talented, acts burst onto the scene and appear to have staying power.

The final results of the 2000 DC Awards were tabulated early Monday morning. There weren't any major surprises, but this exercise proved one thing. Cougar fans are passionate about their teams.
