New director aims to widen scope of health 
law center

The new year brought a new director to the UH Law Center's Health Law and Policy Institute, one of the top health law institutes in the nation.

Fraternity member to traverse nation by bike 
to help charity

Patrick McEuen is not an avid bicyclist. Yet he is planning to spend his summer riding more than 3,500 miles across the United States to help raise awareness and money for people with disabilities.


In Wednesday's article "Religious Group Faces Oppression," on page 2, Falun Gong was incorrectly identified as a religious group. In fact, Falun Gong is a philosophy that teaches cultivation of the mind, spirit and body.
