World Cup 2006: A hodgepodge of UH students and area residents enjoy the cooler weather with a soccer game at the intramural field near Interstate 45 and Cullen Boulevard on Saturday. The group plays every weekend.


While giving students a rest from studies, spring break may have delayed some student organizations and departments from learning how much of the student service fees they would be receiving.

Aside from all the joking, which included journalists and politicians putting on political skits rife with satire, Bush took a few moments to rise above the night's merry-making to ask the crowd for a favor.

How often can you turn on the radio and hear a punk-rock show followed by a spoken-word block that precedes a humorous segment on car maintenance?

With a strong showing in the Conference USA Tournament last week in Cincinnati, the Cougars earned a berth in the National Invitation Tournament and will take on Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn., on Wednesday.
