Cougars ready to rope the Cowboys tonight

The Houston baseball team returns to Cougar Field to face McNeese State at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Cougars haven't played a home game since their 12-11 win overLouisiana State Feb. 24.
 

Softball wins five at tournament

The UH softball team went 5-1 last weekend at the Speedline Invitational Tournament in Tampa, Fla.
 

Golf team ties for eighth place

Sophomore Brad McIntosh led the UH men's golf team to an eighth-place tie with Arizona in the Las Vegas Invitational, which concluded Sunday.
 

Cougars beat Blazers

The UH women's tennis team got back on track with a huge 4-1 win over Conference USA opponent Alabama-Birmingham on March 1.

Security measures an acute reminder

South Korean soccer fields playing host to the World Cup during the month of June will be armed, a Korean Air Force spokesman said Monday. Military jets will patrol the skies over the stadiums, and two French-made, portable land-to-air missiles will be deployed outside them.
