'Take a look, it's in a book': History graduate student Daniel B. Wells takes money from junior health promotion major Jasmine Merchant at the Phi Alpha Theta book sale Wednesday at Agnes Arnold Hall. The history honors society will also sell books today.

 

The Student Government Association has formed a task force on campus safety in response to the sexual assault reported by a UH student in late October.


Listener-sponsored community radio almost made me lose control of my vehicle the other day. There I was, peacefully listening to intriguingly funny British accents on the British Broadcasting Corporation World Service News Hour simulcast on KPFT-FM 90.1 and zipping by 8 a.m. traffic, when all of a sudden the disc jockeys barged onto the air and began pleading for money.

The women's basketball team pulled out a thrilling 67-65 victory over cross-town rival Rice in the first round of the Women's National Invitational Tournament on Wednesday night in Hofheinz Pavilion.
