'Evil' is prequal to video game's story

Movies based on video games can turn out very well or extremely poorly. In the past we've seen movies like Super Mario Bros. and Tomb Raider
disgrace the screen, but there are occasionally titles like Mortal Kombat (the first one, anyway) that break the mold and turn out to be decent.

If there were not a war going on, it would be easy to dismiss the heart-wrenching but flawed Harrison's Flowers.
