The Cougars come into the tournament on the heels of an eighth-place finish at the Las Vegas Collegiate on March 8-10.

There, sophomore Brad McIntosh fired a 2-under-par 70 in the final round to jump into a tie for fifth place individually and helped lead the
Cougars to their third top-10 finish of the year.

McIntosh, the 2001 Conference USA Tournament individual champion, collected the team's best individual finish of the year after lowering his
score in each of the three rounds.

He is second on the team with a 74.2 scoring average.

Teammate Scott Ferguson also made his presence felt on the course during the final 18 holes, shooting a career and UH-season-best 67.
Junior Simon Robinson leads Houston with a 73.2 scoring average.
