Cougar Sports Services

The UH golf team completed play Sunday in Johnson City, Tenn., at the Bank of Tennessee/The Ridges Intercollegiate Tournament in 14th place of
15 teams.

The Cougars shot a 26-over-par 890 and were 49 shots off the lead and tournament champion, Texas Christian (23-under par).

Individually, UH was led by junior Simon Robinson and sophomore Scott Ferguson. Robinson's Sunday round of 71 (219) and Ferguson's 70 (219)
paced the rest of the Cougars. Both players tied at 3 over par. The two were tied for 31st place among a 78-player field.

Junior Brett Callas' 226, junior-transfer Chris Cureton's 227 and sophomore Brad McIntosh's 228 rounded out the Cougar scoring. The three were
10, 11 and 12 over par, respectively.

The Cougars will next compete Nov. 8 and 9 at the Red River Classic in Dallas.
