Tennis team ready for final match with Rice

The UH tennis team will have its final match of the regular season today when it takes on cross-town rival Rice.
 

Cougars plan to stuff Owls

The No. 7 Houston baseball team faces No. 3 Rice at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Reckling Park after maintaining its national rank for the second straight week.
 

UH sweeps weekly C-USA honors

Two of Houston Baseball's most talented players swept the Conference USA weekly awards Monday. Sophomore right-handed pitcher Brad Sullivan
was honored as Pitcher of the Week, while junior outfielder and first baseman Brett Cooley was named Hitter of the Week.
 

Despite silver glove losses, baseball deserves support

Houston should never lose to Rice at anything, and the fact that the Cougars have dropped three games of this season's Silver Glove series is enough
to make Cougars want to bury their heads in the sand.
