Smith lauds UH as a 'great university'

Declaring that UH had achieved 1958 commencement speaker Lyndon B. Johnson's "prophecy" that it would someday become "a great university," UH
President Arthur K. Smith gave his "Report to the Community" before hundreds of local business leaders, elected officials and other dignitaries
Wednesday.
 

Arson investigated in Towers

A fire in the fourth-floor lounge of Moody Towers South woke residents early Saturday morning, forcing an evacuation of both towers. Police are investigating arson.
 

39th SGA meets for first time

A new era in the Student Government Association began Wednesday with many new faces as the 39th Senate met for the first time in the World Affairs
Lounge at the University Center.
 

Honors College presents 'Milton Marathon' on Friday
