Boot the system: Two workers from Parking and Transportation place a "boot" on a vehicle parked in front of the Science and Research building
near Entrance 14 on Wednesday.

 

Hundreds of volunteers from around Houston will walk Sunday to support a cause that affects families from around the country every day: helping to save and comfort the lives of premature and unhealthy babies.


Writing a goodbye column is tough, perhaps tougher than writing any other column. There are so many people I want to thank, so many I'd like to blast one final time, so many points about this campus and its petty bureaucrats that I'll have to leave to future columnists.


What would you do if you had only one week to live? Angelina Jolie explores the possibilities of the true meaning of life in a role completely new to her. Life or Something Like It is the latest feel-good movie with a moral lesson for us all.


With that, Ward put some muscle behind her and moved from Rusk to Houston, bringing her high jump, long jump and javelin talents with her to leap to the top as a respected Cougar heptathlete.
