Houston is better positioned than New York City or Chicago to continue its population growth after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, city experts
said at the Lanier Public Policy Conference held Friday at the UH Hilton.


The spring semester is almost at a close, and today is my final opportunity to voice a boisterous opinion before we all go home for the summer. I feel a very appropriate topic for this column is school spirit here at UH.


Green Field: A Dance Concert, named after a memorial statement by Robert Ebert in the wake of Sept. 11, is being presented April 26 through
today at the Wortham Theater.


The No. 10 Houston baseball team swept Conference USA foe Saint Louis in two games this weekend.
