Crain and Snyder picked in MLB Draft

The Major League amateur baseball draft began Tuesday and two of Houston's own were given the ok to play in the big leagues.

Astros need to step up big to salvage playoff dreams

The Astros proved to be a streaky team in May. Now they must hope their multiple long losing streaks and sluggish play haven't exposed them
as awful. Even worse, the Astros dropped five of six against the Cardinals, who have won nine of 12 meetings between the defending National
League Central co-champions.

Red Wings will be too much for the 'Canes'

Those of you out there in Wonderland who say that the Carolina Hurricanes actually have a chance in hell of defeating the dynamic and
offense-heavy Detroit Red Wings need a CAT scan.
