The Senate Environment and Public Works committee recently approved an amendment to the Clean Air Act by a 10-9 vote, a characteristically thin margin for such sweeping, extreme legislation.

It's been eight years since the animated version of The Lion King was released into theaters. The widely popular show was the number one box office opener in 1994, bringing in $40.9 million. In the first six days of its '95 release Disney's 32nd full-length animated feature sold 20 million videos.

Cougar baseball coach Rayner Noble just got another reason to be pleased about his team's year. Noble was named the 2002 American Baseball
Coaches Association/Rawlings South Central Region Coach of the Year.
