UH's native creature: A construction vehicle digs up the ground near the Garrison and Melcher gymnasiums Tuesday. The ground will be paved to make way for a new faculty/staff parking lot, set to be completed by the start of the fall semester.

 

A recent statewide survey conducted by the UH Center for Public Policy has found that Texas falls below the national average in health care with only 77 percent of Texans having health insurance coverage 5 percent lower than the national average.


Unfortunately for most Americans, the recent struggle of our economy could have been avoided.


It's safe to say that fans of Dave Matthews Band can breathe a sigh of relief at the release of the group's fifth RCA Records studio release Busted Stuff. After the hiccup that was 2001 release Everyday, DMB returns with an album that sounds more DMB


On one night, though, the stars were aligned, the pitching and defense were terrific, and the Astros defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 3-1 Monday in front of 27,515 at Minute Maid Park.
