A dead blue jay was seen Monday morning in front of Steven Power Farish Hall by the Cullen Fountain. This was the second on-campus sighting of a dead blue jay in the past three weeks.


As the United States prepares its plan to overthrow Saddam Hussein in Iraq, leftists abound are expressing the need for a nationwide debate over the merits of such an operation.


It isn't rare when a filmmaker replicates something he or she has successfully done in the past. One can go from Alfred Hitchcock's work to Quentin Tarantino's and find themes used in their respected films. But to entertain and to even add to those themes is what makes a fine filmmaker.


The Astros are beginning to resemble a team ready to make a playoff run. Whether that resemblance will evolve into reality remains to be seen.
