All clear: An unidentified student reacts tearfully to a bomb threat to the Bauer College of Business's Melcher Hall early Friday morning. After about 30 minutes, UH Police Department personnel determined that it was a false alarm, and students were allowed back in the building.

Federal and local officials, along with leaders of Houston's faith communities, tried to answer the questions and allay the concerns of hundreds of citizens gathered at a forum Sunday to discuss last week's terrorist attacks on America.

As I grew up, my feelings on the matter changed, as many others' feelings do: "the cops" became a threat, people to avoid. By the time I got to college I had heard lots of rhetoric about "the pigs."

"If I ain't better than (Notorious B.I.G.), I'm the closest one," Jay-Z braggadocciously raps on his latest release, The Blueprint.

A souvenir hunter gained entrance to Suite 127 in Hofheinz Pavilion and stole the uniform worn by former "Phi Slamma Jamma" and UH Hall of Fame member Hakeem Olajuwon, said University Police Department shift commander Sgt. Derrick McClinton.
