Govt. officials address locl questions, fears

Federal and local officials, along with leaders of Houston's faith communities, tried to answer the questions and allay the concerns of
hundreds of citizens gathered at a forum Sunday to discuss last week's terrorist attacks on America.

On Friday afternoon, as it became increasingly evident that the perpetrators of last week's terrorist actions in New York City, Washington,
D.C., and Pennsylvania were of Middle Eastern origin, members of UH's Muslim community gathered for their weekly jummah prayers and to
denounce the shocking acts.

En route to the World Trade Center after Tuesday's terrorist attacks, fourth-year medical student Adam Weglein wasn't sure he would ever
see home again.
