Expectations were high following a Texas game in which UH played Texas tough for the first half, even taking a brief lead. Head coach Dana Dimel had stressed the importance of taking the positives of that game into Saturday's game against Texas Christian. But the Horned Frogs' opening drive quickly erased those positives as UH dropped its third consecutive game, 34-17.


In recent days, many Islamic people have come forth in the media to disavow the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11 and make clear the distinction between the actual tenets of Islam and the twisted interpretation put forth by the most extreme members of the faith.


This is its final tour across the state; the band now has only two more shows before the Toadies will be a thing of the past.


The Cougar football team walks without a limp today. Our football heroes shot themselves in both feet Saturday when they lost to Texas Christian to finish their season 0 for Texas.
