Geography students lost as Doran departs

The man at the forefront of the resurgence of interest in a geography program at UH cleaned out his office Wednesday while an apparent
administrative blunder left many students stranded when they found that classes for which they had enrolled had been cancelled.

Four UH students recieve logistics awards

Four UH students recently received scholarships from the annual Logistics Education Foundation awards program, making UH the only
institution earning multiple honors. Last year, students from UH collected three of the 11 scholarships awarded.

Free phone, computers now available at the UC

Two phone and computer terminals providing free services grabbed the attention of students and others passing through the University
Center on Wednesday.

Back Porch replaces Satellite

When UH students who had been away from campus returned this week, they found that not only were many of their classrooms relocated
due to the devastation of Tropical Storm Allison, but that one of the major between-class haunts, the UC Satellite, was also closed.
