Cullen fountain should be full again by spring

Thanks to the floodwaters of Tropical Storm Allison, the University's largest fountain looks like a dry lake bed. Since the beginning of the
semester, the 500,000-gallon fountain at the Cullen Family Plaza, in the heart of campus, has been empty.
 

Technology altering cities

Architects and urban planners in the 21st century will need to incorporate modern electronic and telecommunications technology in their designs in the same way their 19th-century counterparts had to deal with the products of the Industrial Revolution, an architectural scholar said Thursday at UH.
 

Study abroad through OISP

The Office of International Studies and Programs, an umbrella organization to coordinate study abroad programs, recently opened for
business in Room 501F of the University Center. It serves as a central location where faculty and students can go for guidance on issues
regarding studying abroad.
